How to help

Help us mobilize support for the WUSC Student Refugee Program (SRP). Follow these four steps to Shine a Light on the challenges faced by these promising young refugee girls.

Step One: Donate
Donate $10 to give one girl access to solar-powered light so she can study at night. We want to help 1000 girls and we need your help. Click on the “Donate” button in the top right corner of the page.

If you wish to make a larger donation and receive an electronic tax receipt, you can donate directly here.

Step Two: Share with your Network
Share our donation “widget” with all of your friends, family and anyone else who believes in the power of education and the resilience of young women. Simply click on the “share” button on the donation widget to the right. Then post the donation widget to your Facebook profile, MySpace page, blog, website… The more people we can involve, the more girls we can empower, so please help us make this widget “go viral” online.

Step Three: Share Your Story on Youtube
Check out the testimonials of people who have been involved with the WUSC Student Refugee Program over the years. Whether you have been involved with WUSC’s Student Refugee Program in the past or not, add your own story about the power of education and knowledge sharing.

  Step Four: Forward an Email
Finally, forward this web page to everyone you know by email…
An easy way to do this is to hover over the “Share” button in the bottom right hand of our main page and then click “Email”.

Donate today and light the way to education for all!
